Hydraulic clamp for handling of ceiling panels

Efficient handling of picked ceiling panel packs

On the sites of construction material manufacturers, many
different ceiling panels must be picked every day for
construction sites. The finished packs should then be loaded efficiently onto lorries. With the clamp from Probst, that is no problem. It comprises hydraulically operated side sections with
under-grab jaws and electrically powered centre of gravity
adjustment of the lifting eye. The under-grab jaws can be
extended mechanically on both sides by manually swivelling
them forward. The hydraulic unit is already included in the
delivery. Being attached to the gantry crane with chain hoists,
the ceiling panel packs already waiting on square timbers can
therefore be picked up easily by the crane operator and
loaded onto the lorry. The ceiling panels here can be
max. 2,500 mm wide and max. 10,000 mm long.
The load capacity of the clamp is 13,000 kg.
